Anyways its World Cup season!!! And Mousehunt has a challenge for ya~!


Larry's Football Challenge!

(Even the golden shield is all footbally!)


It's like Halloween, you need to visit profiles to collect footballs . Be sure to set yours too!

These (footballs) act as currency to play a football subgame through Larry. In each game you will encounter several mice one at a time. You will be given three option on how you want to get past the mouse(think of it as you are the footballer with the football), so depending on the mouse, the options are different. If you pick the right one you go pass, if not it is a luck roll.


For instance I met a:

1) Spud  >> "Head over the mouse"

followed by a:

2) Gu Zheng Mouse >> "Focus your thoughts"

...

Hmmm actually I forgot the actual sequence just the mice =P

so...


3) Hot Head Mouse >> "Douse with cold water"

4) Vanguard  >> "Kick up dust"

5) Snooty Mouse >> "invite for a half-time cup of tea"

6) Mystic Rook Mouse >> "Limbo under the line of fire"

7) Mystic Bishop Mouse >> "Dribble in a squiggly line"

(Its quite fun and endearing since you have to play mousehunt for quite a bit to have a good guess on which is the mouse's "weakness" =) )



At some point (twice) you will meet some special footballer mouse with no weakness , that encounter has no options only a luck roll. You can choose to shoot for goal or dribble pass at most encounters. If you score you get a prize at that level, if you attempt to get pass the mouse you get the chance of a better prize (bronze,silver,gold football locker?) but if you don't get pass you lose and need to start again. Each attempt costs one football.  that was wordy.



Also if you find that you cannot get past the special mouse, try counting to 5 before you attempt to dribble (i.e. click the "attempt to dribble past" button).

No there is no ghost in the machine and neither are the devs psychic. Its likely to do with some delay due to the app loading =P




Oh and each goal you score goes towards the total for the country team you support. You set the country team of your choice at your profile (when you click your shield )


One important note: Only the gold footlockers drop the "Football Journal Theme" scraps. So yes you need to get the golden footlockers more than once =P I think I had to get about 8 or 9 .... its not extremely hard though, so chances are good that you will get the theme quite quickly =)


To craft it go "crafting" under the inventory tab.

Go straight to the crafting table, your theme scraps are under the "Theme Scraps" sidetabs.

Its not really much to look at like that, but when you catch a mouse its actually not too bad.

Last but not least, don't forget to open the footlocker drops =) There are footballs in em! And Kings credits and SB too! You can arm striker's charm to have a chance at getting a double drop (I am not sure if the double drop is guaranteed thing)
