A Magical Huffalump Resides Here: So You Need to Be a Math Guru

A Magical Huffalump Resides Here

My name is Ed, I am a programmer. Just another dude with another blog. I like MTG, Open Source (more towards FREE software). I like sports, and eventually I hope to do business and do good for the world in general. This blog is gonna be about Magic The Gathering. Decklists and snippets will be posted here. It may lead somewhere or nowhere, as with all things arcane, that was bloody obvious =)

So You Need to Be a Math Guru

Dear parents and friends and some of you hardworking students out there. For those of you who are studying for PSLE mathematics and want to ace your exams, there’s good news for you.

There is this website , www.singaporemathguru.com which I came across that offers free math questions for students to attempt on their site. And not only that, these questions can be attempted and answers will be given immediately so that the student gets instant feedback on whether their answers are correct.

Here’s a look at the website…

The above is the front page of the website.

More information when you scroll down… They have a free trial and they claim to send examination questions to your mailbox… And they also claim that questions are free to attempt…hmmm…let’s see about that

Let’s navigate to the modules page…

this is what we see

There are modules name “primary 4,5 and 6”…
Let’s click on primary 6…

As you can see above, those are some of the topics in the module called “Primary 6”…Let’s click on start module…See below…

Let’s try some of these questions…

Yes… you can even attempt the question and key in your answer into the field below and then press submit.. So far pretty cool…

A sound tells me I am correct. Now at this point I can choose to view solutions which is worked solutions in video format. Now this is really cool… For any student out there, they can get their answers instantly without a tutor sitting beside them.

So if your child is in primary 4, 5 or 6, try this website out right now and make full use of it. Also, a registered non-paying member gets their progress checked each time they attempt the questions. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to ace their PSLE.
