Sorry for the lack of updates =) I am still on the first run through the cruise.

If you are just rushing through, there are'nt much changes from yesteryears =P

i.e.:

(assuming no Lunar New Year stuff from previous years)

1.  Arm with Swiss/Brie/Gouda to farm Firecracker Charms. SB+ is of course best since the Firecracker (henceforth FC) drops will be higher (and pretty good at that! - Now a caveat, I used to hunt with SB in previous years and the drops were good! These days my SB is a little low and more importantly I have quite a bit of FC charms so... use SB at your own discretion, but the drops should be good =))

2. Once you have about say 100 - 200 (totally arbitrary, its what I would run with) FC charms, you can start to arm them to farm Nitropop (or NitroPOOP ;)) potions. Now this is partly why you want to farm more FC Charms, each potion converts 3 FC charms into 3 Nitropop charms. So it actually eats into your FC supply (which is probably why the FC drops are generous ;))

3. Once you are at the "Farming Nitropop" stage you need to consider if you will be running in tournaments or not. 

Tournaments

If you are, my advice is to stock up on lots of Nitropop charms. Once you have alot, say a couple of hundreds, you can start to farm the new "Rammng Potion", the drops are not horrendous but its not great either (SB+ should fix that! At least a little, again at your discretion, your SB might be better served else where (say in a tourney ;)), but if you have buttloads of SB+? Please feel free =)). Each Ramming Potion converts 1 Nitropop Charm to 1 Ramming Speed Charm, so again when farmming Nitropop charms, you need to factor this in ;) So in summary if you are gunning for Tournaments? Stock up on Ramming  Speed charms, then Nitropop Charms then FC charms. In that order. Stock up to a sizable warchest and good luck in your rumbles in the Tournaments! =) 

Just Cruisin' for a Bruisin'

However if you are like me are just cruisin' then it really does not matter =) Use up ALL the Ramming Speed charms and Nitropop Charms to run through the cruise as fast as possible (i.e. in as little hunts as possible). Thats if you just want to get through this CNY event as fast as possible though :p Where's your spirit man?!?!?!? heh anywasy.

So if you are really deep into cruisin' it gets quite interesting actually. But it is not going to get you alot of points or gold. So if you are competing in those departments, you might want to give this a miss. This is more for those that enjoy the intricacies of hunting :P The fun part about the cruise is that it runs though a gamut of regions. So a single trap setup will get you through, but it will hardly be the most optimised. And even the term optimise is subjective depending on the metric of concern to you. Catch rate? Of which mice? 

Alright I am sorry to troll ya. I've got nothing here . I am just cuising through babe, but I do love my Basia heh. But my minutes of life writing this for your minutes eh? Alright alright I do have something, but it was just something interesting I chanced upon that I thought was an interesting way to run through the cruise =). 

4. Once you are through one run of the Cruise, you get a Commander or Captains?? coat and you can finally purchase the Sheep Jade Base!! (you will need to get a Jade base!)

5. So Cher ....anywasy sorry for the 80s drops all over the place haha. But what next? The cruise actually drops quite a few collectibles from each region, so those might be something to work towards. If say you are missing the Sunken City collectible, you might want to zoom through the other regions but go slow (no FC, Nitro or Ram charms) to maximise the hunts to increase your chances of getting the loot drop. There are also various skins for the FCL and MCL rift power traps. If your main thing is gold and points though (not a bad gig considering the Mousehunt Birthday Event will be right after this! Sometime in march I heard) then its "hasta la vista" "I will be back" "seeya next year bub" "kthanks bye". There pick one. Youre dunns.
